MATERIAL AND COLOUR

925 sterling silver
At Elli, we primarily use genuine, high-quality materials. Most of our jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver. We also offer two other colors based on 925 sterling silver: gold-plated and rose gold-plated. The finish varies depending on the color, but the base material remains the same.
Our Elli gold tone doesn't have an overpowering yellow hue, but is warm and subtle. Our gold-plated pieces are 23.5-carat gold-plated, while our rose gold-plated pieces are 18-carat gold-plated. This high-quality gold plating ensures that you can enjoy your jewelry for a long time, and the color will remain consistent if you follow our care instructions. Because we're so confident in our quality, we offer a one-year guarantee on every piece of jewelry.
925 sterling silver is softer than real gold, making it easy to form. 925 sterling silver is 92.5% pure. This means that for every 1,000 parts of sterling silver, there are 75 parts (7.5%) of other metals. This is considered the standard for real silver jewelry.
All our sterling silver jewelry is hallmarked, meaning the 925 fineness of the silver is stamped into the material.

375 and 585 gold
We are also particularly proud of the 375 (9ct) and 585 (14ct) yellow gold jewelry in our collections. Yellow gold is an alloy made up of fine gold, silver and copper, depending on the proportion. The ratio of the metals to each other is decisive for the intensity of the gold color. The more gold it contains, the more intense the gold color.
Gold is sold in different grades. The international measure of gold purity is usually the carat (abbreviated to "K" or "ct"), so the percentage of pure gold in a gram of this alloy can be reported to within one-thousandth.
375 gold is 37.5% pure gold and has a gold content of 9K.
585 gold is 58.5% pure gold and has a gold content of 14K.
This means that the remaining parts of the jewelry contain other metals such as silver, copper, etc.
All of our jewelry made from yellow gold is hallmarked. The fineness (375 or 585) of the gold is stamped on the material.

585 white gold
585 white gold refers to gold that has been deprived of its original gold color by the addition of other precious metals such as silver, chromium, or platinum to create a silvery hue. The silver color of white gold cannot be removed through use, scratching, or sawing, as the white gold contains 100% of the silver color visible on the surface.
Our white gold jewelry in 585 gold is 58.5% pure gold and has a gold content of 14 K.
All our white gold jewelry is hallmarked, meaning the gold's fineness (585) is stamped into the material.
